joomlify {we} make stuff joomla..

Where’s my mojo?

Thanks in part to our due diligence (but mostly to our intrepid alpha beta-testers) we’ve corralled a long suspect bit of .js which has been causing many folks issues with image management, drag and drop placement and insertion into posts.

That was the good news. The “not so good news” is; we’ve decided to NOT rewrite the offending .js. Instead we’re pulling a milestone from 1.0+ and working on integrating mojoblog a bit deeper into the joomla!/a8e framework.

Yeah, so what does that mean? It means we’re working on a new bit of mojo that will allow mojobloggers to use the same wysiwyg editors they use elsewhere in joomla! while retaining basic Wordpress RTF compatibility.

Ok, how long till mojoblog 0.17? Dunno but, we’ll keep you posted..

I have to admit that I was a little nervous when looking at the app. and seeing that it hasn’t been updated in 142 days but as long as there is on going support at least for now I guess it is ok to give it a whirl.

Feel free to give mojo a whirl.

Do it! Add this blog component now! You cannot find one as good.
I just downloaded Myblog+JomComment and it cost me roughly $100. That was all because I wanted to use Joomla 1.5 on a new site I was using. After installing MyBlog and seeing what I paid for I uninstalled MyBlog, JomComment and Joomla 1.5, I then replaced it with Joomla 1.0 and Mojo. What a great component.

whenever i try to do anything in the backend dashboard of mojoblog as the Joomla admin, i get the message:

    Access denied to mojoAdmin.
view this forum post for details

What does this mean and how can i fix it?

    I am running Joomla 1.0.15.

Plus, how can I make it so users can add posts just like this one?

    Thanks,
    Bryan

Try reading the faqs and the sticky posts in our support forums. You’ll find your answers there.

ok, I looked for a search link as you mentioned, but don’t see it… I am not able to access ANYTHING at all, I can’t create new categories, and I am about to launch my site. I am not sure I understand what you are saying? Are you working on fixing this or is the info lost? When will I be able to add to my blog?
    Thanks

Heard something special about your Mojo, had to see it for myself…it is confirmed, you got some MoJo!

  8. botnerd responded:

I love your app. Will use it with my website.

  9. Legal Techie responded:

Any plans of making the mojoblog compatible with Joomla 1.5+?

  10. Srini responded:

Thanks for this great component. It’s live at my site and I’ve written a how-to guide for it as well. It integrated perfectly with my rocket theme template. The only thing I can’t get working is SEF page titles, even with the sticky note idea on the forum. The other thing is that the “Save” operation on the blog posts times out, even though changes appear to have been saved. I Look forward to seeing these issues ironed out to make for the perfect Joomla blog solution.
