Day late, Dollar short.
MojoBlog version 0.16 is now available for those mojofolk wanting to upgrade their natty old 0.15 versions for the spiffy new model.
For another day or three the full, clean install version of 0.16 will continue to be tested, installed, uninstalled and generally abused until I feel the new install process is fairly fool-proof. Soon as we’re
done, I’ll let the world (and joomlaforge) know and it’ll be added to our files section here on joomlify.
Update Only
Get the 0.16 update in our files area, download it, unpack/unarchive the file and read the readme.txt inside for instructions on how to move your mojo. For those dead set against the principle of reading readme’s, I’ll post the exact same verbiage in our forums.
Christmas Prezzies
As an added bonus, I’ll be adding a couple of new modules for mojo to our files section. The first is an overhauled version of the “sidebar” module that now can be displayed/loaded globally, whether mojoBlog is active or not. The second is a new mojoAdmin module which allows quick access to posts, edits and the ability to clear mojoCache from the public side (for those of you with permissions issues backend.)
Happy Holidays from 1guy, Joomlify and all the neighborhood kitties.
Blog
Curious when you’ll have the importer available. Could you post an entry on your progress?
Thanks,
Charles
SEF urls and post titles are my priority, soon thereafter, promise.. import capabilities… promise!
Enhanced support for multiple authors - could you write something more about that feature? Is it multi-user blogging system? Maybe just a first step towards it?
good to know that project is still developed,
regards
Just discovered mojo yesterday when I decided to start a blog. Biggest dissapointment was the lack of SEF, so I am glad you see this as a priority.
Once SEF is available and I know forsure I will stick with mojo, you can be sure to see a donation (I always do for components I use)
BTW-Had a comma in my email address instead of a period and lost the whole comment because of bad email address. That sucked - shouldnt the post be preserved?
I encounter another problem when using 0.16
there is STILL a fuckup in canonical URIs kev
pls advise.
Niiiice work man! I’ve been a WP for a while now, being comfortable with other CMS’ as well - now I finally decided that one of my sites was very unsuited for blogging so I switched it over to Joomla. Had to read up on various thing to see if it’s even feasible to integrate WP into Joomla and BOY IS IT lol - thanks for your hard work - it’s greatly appreciated.
To Ang Chew:
OOps, sorry about the colorful english. I’d meant to change that before public release. It was a hard day that day…
Hi,
Is version 0.16 still available - cannot see it in the files menu.
