Official Mojo Developers Blog
When is a blog not a blog? When it’s a pushed stream of information that’s force fed to a growing number of mojoBlog users directly to their mojoBlog dashboard.
The “developers news feed” idea has been around since the early days of Mambo (remember when your admin page would take forever to load, waiting for mamboserver to come back online?). WordPress still uses it to display not only their own agenda but, recent snippets from favored WP gurus, plugin and theme developers and an occasional rant or two from the related blogosphere.
Until recently I’ve been sending users of mojoBlog all the pablum fit to post but, with very little content about mojoBlog as this “feed” has been pulled from the main blog on joomlify.com.
That’s gonna change. We’ve created a new, dedicated category on our blog called OMBD (official mojo developers blog) and all future releases of mojoBlog will push -only- this category’s posts to our users. From here on out you’ll see mojoBlog mentioned at least three times per post, whether it’s relevant or not. No more whining about bad hosting, bad administration (me) or bad people trying to hack our website. No bad, just good relevant info on the latest mojoBlog status, latest files, upcoming point releases. All mojo, all the time.
